WG4 Theory 2011

Welcome to the NanoTP theory work group 2011 meeting (WG4). This year the 3 day meeting will be held at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.

The first session will start after coffee at 11am on Monday the 13th of June, and the meeting will close on the afternoon of Wednesday the 15th.

Abstracts for submission is now open

The NanoTP network (COST Action MP0901) is supporting attending COST members at the meeting for registration, travel and accommodation (within the rules voted by the NanoTP management committee within the Memorandum of Understanding).

Scope: Planned programme sessions include

  • New advances in electronic structure modelling for thousands of atoms
  • Graphite and graphene on the nanoscale
  • Nano-structured semiconductors
  • Structural, magnetic and photonic simulation on the nano- to meso-scale

Keynote Speakers: Will be selected from the submitted abstracts.
A programme book will be provided to attendees including local information
WiFi will be available at the meeting, attendees are encouraged to pre-register for EduRoam connections.

Social Visit: A visit is planned to the renowned banks of Loch Lomond.
